Do you remember my polar quiet book baby toy that I finished crocheting earlier this year? I moved on to one of the other projects in the bundle — this time, a safari-themed activity cube.
With the experience of the first project from this designer under my belt, I was more confident with this second attempt. I was able to more accurately crochet this one (read: accurate stitch counts more often 😆) and I finished sooner (7 months from start to finish).
I loved the result and so does the mama-to-be! My only regret is that the rhino is loose and doesn’t stay in, but seeing as how it’s a baby toy, I don’t predict the animal heads will be in their holes most of the time anyway.

What’s next
I have the robot shape sorter as the last pattern in the bundle. Seeing as how these take me well about at least half a year to make, that one might see the light of day in 2025! Stay tuned!
